Back to My Art
Pushmania born from a Walter Xausa’s idea during a summer holiday at seaside, in Sicily. While he was taking a selfie, he noticed that around him everybody was been doing the same, so the artist had the idea to push these people in a friendly way, taking pictures of them. Starting from this born the concept of the antiselfie. These style become even more a mania spread out around world, thanks of a lot of friends, who publishing funny pictures of objects, people, animals, monuments or unusual situations pushed.
With the aim of discovering and point out the art inside every kind of object which surround us, included those ones which apparently do not have nothing to do with art, born this original photographic project. Walter Xausa starts to capturing details of random objects, then these pictures, published on social networks, are zooming and converted in black and white pictures. By publishing these on Instagram, the artist wants to stimulate and involve people through feeds and stories, in which they have to guess to what objects the detail pertains to.
